Effective date: 2026-09-12. This policy describes what this site collects when you open a page, and what third parties receive.

What this site collects

• Server and security logs. Like most sites behind a CDN, requests pass through Cloudflare, which records technical data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for delivery, caching, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics. Runein does not build profiles from these logs.
• Analytics. Pages load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and reports aggregate numbers: page views, sessions, approximate country, referrer, device class. It is used to see which pages are read; it is not used to identify individuals.
• No accounts, no forms. There is no login, no comment system and no contact form on this site — the contact page is a plain email address, so nothing you write is stored on the server.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. When ads are shown, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites.

What is never done with your data

• No selling, renting or trading of visitor data.
• No building of individual profiles from the analytics above.
• No collection of special-category data, and no collection of data from children: this site is aimed at people evaluating hosting and tooling for work.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser; the pages still work.
• Use the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above to limit personalized advertising.
• Browser-level tracking protection, private windows, or an ad blocker all work here — no content is withheld from users who run them.
